Professor Wang graduated from the First Military Medical University, Chief physician of Thoracic Department, Associate Professor of Peking University Health Science Center and Committee member of Department of Thoracic Surgery, Committee member in Thoracic Surgery Brach of Beijing Medical Association, Committee member of Chest Trauma Group as a Deputy Director.

Professor Wang is skilled in the treatment of severe thoracic trauma, multiple rib fractures and fractures of the sternum. He is a pioneer in China to use absorbable material, compression titanium plate in internal fixation of chest wall. He also pioneers in the application of computer navigation technology in the localization of rib small lesions and rib tumor resection with VATS. He is also good at minimally invasive pectus carinatum and pectus excavatum with VATS. As for the malignant tumor of chest wall soft tissue, ribs, sternum and chest wall osteomyelitis, he practices in extended resection. As for the large chest wall defect, he implements a thoracic reconstruction with musculocutaneous flap, biological materials and metal materials. Meanwhile, as for the treatment of esophageal cancer, cardia cancer, and lung cancer, he mainly takes a minimally invasive VATS operation, and obtains rich clinical experience.
