Nutrition department of Beijing Ji Shui Tan Hospital is a medical department directly led by the medical director, which incluses clinical professional nutrition group and dietary processing group. The department director is associate chief dietitian. At present, there are 7 clinical nutrition professionals, consisting of 1 associate chief dietitian, 2 dietitian -in-charge, 2 dietitian and 2 nutrition technician.
Clinical professional nutrition group is in charge of medicine, teaching and research, and responsible for nutrition screening and assessment, consultation and nutritional support and treatment for hospitalized patients, and making nutrition diagnosis and treatment plan, issuing for dietary advice and guiding nutrition therapy processing for patients needs special diet in Xinjiekou and Huilongguan hospital districts. In particular, nutrition department has carried out nutritional treatment research in trauma or burn patients based on the characteristics of our hospital in Xinjiekou hospital district and established a series of nutritional therapy plan in each stages of trauma and burns. Over the years, the Department of nutrition has accumulated rich experience in nutritional therapy of trauma in diabetic patients, severe burns, critical patients, mass burn patients, which has became the characteristics of nutrition therapy in our department.
So far, nutrition consultation clinic has been set up to provide personalized nutrition evaluation, counseling and guidance services for diabetes , hypertension, high blood lipids, chronic kidney disease patients as well as maternal and other special populations.
Medical characteristics:
1. The nutritional treatment of diabetes, gestational diabetes, obesity, hyperlipidemia hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, hyperuricemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, malnutrition etc. and nutrition guidance for pregnant women, the elderly and other special populations.
2. Enteral nutrition support with hospitalized patients.
3. Providing four categories about 20 kinds of diets including basic diet, therapeutic diet, tube feeding and metabolism experiment.
